BlackBerry Desktop Software 6 Leaked!

BlackBerry Desktop Software 6

I have to admit that it has been quite some time since I’ve downloaded a leaked piece of software from Research in Motion.  I believe the last leak that I downloaded was Twitter for BlackBerry.  Chances are good, however that I am going to download the recently leaked BlackBerry Desktop Software 6, which is now unofficially available just a few days after entering a closed beta for select BlackBerry Beta Zone members.

Leaked BlackBerry Desktop Software 6 can be found via the following links:

Remember, BlackBerry Software 6, unless you pick it up from BlackBerry Beta Zone, is a leaked beta release of the software.  If, however, you decide to give it try for yourself, please come back, leave a comment, and tell us what you think…

E-Mails stops coming. Version 5.0.0.681 major problem

Hello Forum,

First post for me, hope it goes well.

I am tech support at a larger company in Sweden. We have recently (1 year ago) switched over from HTC to Blackberry Bold 9000. We have around 150 users atm all running on various versions and haven’t had one single problem since a few weeks ago when we started rolling out 5.0.0.681.

I have so far updated 48 handhelds to the new version and its the same thing with almost all handhelds, it works fine for a few days or maybe up to two weeks, then the redirection TO the handheld stops. You can still send emails from the handheld though.
To solve this I have to remove the user from the BES, wipe the handheld, readd user to BES and do a enterprise reactivation. But after some days, weeks, the problem re-occurs.

I have raised a call with the phone providor but their tech support is pure garbage so I want to give it a shot here.

And ofcourse I know I can downgrade, but not all users are in the office (vacation) so this is not an option atm.
Fun thing, the companys CEO just gave me a call while I was typing this thread, said that he haven’t had any new e-mails for 13 days. So yes this is a serious issue. 8-)

Note, we are using BB Manager vers. 4.1.6.20 on the server.

I’d be very happy if anyone could help me out here.

Thanks in advance

Nicklas

Switching info from one BB to another

Hey all, I am currently on an 8900. But in a few days I will be getting a 9700. I am pretty sure I use desktop manager pretty well; however, I have never used it to transfer my stuff from one device to the next.

Can someone put a step by step in this thread for me? It would be appreciated. Please make it as second grade as possible.

Thanks
