It’s been a while since we’ve posted our last BlackBerry Deal of the Day, however, we’ve got a good one for.  Tether for BlackBerry, formerly known as TetherBerry, is $24.98, 50% off the regular price of $49.95.

It just so happens that in episode #9 of the Simple Mobile Review Podcast we interviewed Patrick Hankinson, one of the founders of Tether and he answers a lot of questions that we have about using your BlackBerry as a modem for your laptop.

If you are a Verizon BlackBerry user there is a good chance that you’ve already had the installer icon for Social Beat for BlackBerry pushed to your device.

Social Beat is a social networking client that allows you to connect to multiple networks all from one the same client. Think Social Scope, but, not in a state of never ending beta and attainable by all Verizon BlackBerry users.

Social Beat connects to Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Gmail, and Google Talk and has the ability to display RSS feeds.  There are, of course, individual applications for each of these social networking sites, however, combining them into a single application saves a lot of space which we all now is precious on all but the newest BlackBerry devices.

Tungle.me Looking For Beta Testers For New BlackBerry App

Tungle BlackBerry Beta Testers Wanted

RIM launches the BlackBerry Bold 9700 in Spain

Telefónica and RIM have announced the launch of the BlackBerry Bold 9700 in Spain. The device is available from Telefónica for 99 EUROS and select monthly plans. The Bold 9700 is available to users with the Movistar service plan for BlackBerry.

Anyone in Spain muy excited about this?
